About the role#
CORRE, INC. is hiring a Civil Engineering Co-op for the Summer and Fall 2027 terms. This is a full-time, paid position based in Tomah, Wisconsin. You will work on-site and support our construction department across various projects. Please note that relocation and housing are not provided.
What you'll do#
- Perform on-site inspection for construction projects.
- Complete engineering calculations and help with project documentation.
- Create designs and plan sheets using computer aided drafting software.
- Assist with survey duties on construction or other project sites.
- Help engineers with daily tasks for multiple disciplined projects.
- Work in various environments including field offices, corporate offices, and construction sites.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering program.
- Experience with Microstation, AutoCAD, or similar software.
- Understanding of general survey practices and equipment.
- Familiarity with State Department of Transportation and local agency procedures for construction and design.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A valid driver's license and your own reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 40lbs.
- Comfort working on construction sites in all-season weather, including standing, walking, or climbing on uneven terrain for long periods.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
