About the role#
CORRE, INC. is seeking a civil engineering or civil technician co-op for a full-time internship during Summer 2027. This position is based in Madison, Wisconsin and requires on-site work. Please note that relocation and housing assistance are not provided.
What you'll do#
- Perform on-site inspections for construction projects.
- Complete engineering calculations and assist with project documentation.
- Use computer aided drafting to prepare designs and plan sheets.
- Support engineers with daily tasks across multiple disciplines.
- Assist with survey duties for construction and other projects.
What you'll need#
- Familiarity with State Department of Transportation and local agency procedures for construction and design.
- Experience with Microstation, AutoCAD, or similar software.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of general survey practices and equipment.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 40 pounds.
- Ability to work in all-season weather conditions on construction sites, which may involve standing, walking, or climbing on uneven terrain.
- Authorization to work in the United States for any employer, as sponsorship is not available.
