About the role#
As a Business Development Intern, you will work directly with our Director of Business Development at our Austin office. You will gain a close-range view of how robotics deals are won, from initial sales conversations to system deployment and ongoing customer support. This role involves a mix of customer-facing writing, operational coordination, and field work. We are looking for someone who can manage the details that keep our commercial operations running smoothly.
What you'll do#
- Maintain and clean CRM data to ensure an accurate sales pipeline.
- Investigate target accounts and build call lists with relevant site details and history.
- Build AI and automation workflows for lead enrichment, sequences, and reporting.
- Draft outbound sequences and route inbound leads to ensure timely responses.
- Assemble proposals, quotes, and performance reports for customers.
- Extract performance data from deployed systems and interpret it for customer review.
- Attend customer calls to take notes and track next steps.
- Support logistics for trade shows and events, including shipping and booth setup.
- Produce marketing materials such as case studies, one-pagers, and social posts.
- Maintain customer relationships and provide support, escalating issues internally when necessary.
- Travel to customer sites to assist with visits, installs, and demos.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a bachelor's or master's program in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Computer Engineering, or Communications.
- Strong written communication skills to build customer confidence.
- High level of organization and the ability to follow up on tasks independently.
- Comfort working with incomplete instructions and figuring things out as you go.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites, including occasional overnight trips and hours outside of a standard schedule.
- Exposure to logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or robotics is preferred.
- Experience with CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce, or basic spreadsheet analysis, is preferred.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship based in Austin, Texas.
- The position follows a rolling term schedule.
