About the role#
This internship program provides college students with hands-on experience at a major utility company. You will work within a team to support various business functions and apply academic theories to real projects. We are accepting applications for opportunities during the Summer, Fall, and Winter 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Provide support for business operations and development.
- Assist with projects in finance, human resources, and strategy.
- Contribute to work in project management, emergency management, and public affairs.
- Support teams in governance, compliance, and supplier diversity.
- Handle tasks related to inventory, sourcing analytics, accounting, and issue resolution.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an associate or bachelor degree program at an accredited university.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think critically and pay attention to detail.
- A flexible, self-starting approach to work.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time hybrid position located in Michigan.
- Onsite work is required on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at assigned service centers throughout the Lower Peninsula.
- You must be within a commutable distance or willing to find local accommodations.
- This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
