About the role#
This internship supports the Technical Accounting and Controls and External Reporting departments. You will work on various projects and daily tasks, including data analysis, financial reporting, and maintaining the internal control framework. All tasks are managed and reviewed by the Technical Accounting and Controls team.
What you'll do#
- Research technical accounting for US GAAP and international standards by interpreting guidance to document appropriate accounting treatments.
- Prepare journal entries and cash flow summaries for complex intercompany transactions.
- Analyze, create, and post journal entries in BPC and SAP S4 Hana.
- Assist in maintaining process documentation and corporate accounting policies.
- Support internal control activities by attending process walkthroughs and documenting business controls.
- Help with statutory financial statements, global audits, and ESG reporting projects.
- Assist in reviewing business contracts to identify key accounting considerations.
- Participate in intern events such as senior leader meetings and team presentations.
What you'll need#
- Undergraduate major in Accounting or Finance, ideally entering your senior year.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and database software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
