About the role#
As an Audit IAAS Intern, you will join our internal audit team to support operational, financial, and IT-related audits. You will work across various departments and facilities, helping us evaluate risks and maintain strong controls. This role involves interviewing staff, reviewing transactions, and preparing audit work papers to reach preliminary conclusions.
What you'll do#
- Assess risks and the state of controls for company-wide operations, including finance and information systems.
- Document significant business processes and test key controls that affect financial reporting and IT, including SOX 404 compliance.
- Research and compile data for specific audit projects, including performing analytics.
- Present your findings and recommendations to the audit team.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related business area.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Previous experience in finance, accounting, IT, or auditing, whether through coursework or practical work.
- Ability to work well both independently and within a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
