About the role#
As an Audit IAAS Intern, you will join our internal audit team to support operational, financial, and IT audits across the organization. You will gain exposure to SOX compliance, risk assessment, and process documentation while working alongside professionals to evaluate company controls. This role involves both independent research and collaborative team projects.
What you'll do#
- Assess risks and the state of controls for company-wide operations, including finance and information systems.
- Document significant business processes and test key controls that impact financial reporting and IT.
- Research and compile data for audit projects, including performing data analytics.
- Present your findings and recommendations to the audit team.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Undergraduate or Graduate program in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related business area.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Prior experience in finance, accounting, IT, or auditing.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Rochester, New York.
- The role is on-site.
