Investment Banking Intern

About the role#

ComCap is seeking an Investment Banking Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This role offers direct experience with execution and support teams on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and financing assignments. Interns work directly with senior bankers and clients in a full-time capacity.

What you'll do#

• Conduct financial analysis and modeling.
• Perform company and industry research, including competitive and valuation analyses.
• Participate in the development of client presentations.
• Produce high-quality work products consistently.
• Interact with senior bankers and clients.

What you'll need#

• Junior or Senior standing at a US or Canadian university with a 3.5 GPA or above.
• Proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and basic skills in PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to write marketing documentation and model transactions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and attention to detail.
• Academic background in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Statistics.

• Location: Remote (Vancouver, British Columbia).
• Term: Fall 2026.
• Commitment: Full-time (approximately 40 hours per week).
• Compensation: Paid internship.
