About the role#
FT Partners is hiring Summer Associates for an 8-week program beginning in June 2027. You will join our team in either San Francisco or New York. This role is a full-time commitment and requires you to be in the office 5 days per week. You will participate in all stages of a transaction, from initial origination to final closing.
What you'll do#
- Perform extensive financial modeling, analysis, and company valuation.
- Conduct corporate and industry research to support strategic recommendations.
- Identify business development opportunities and potential investors, buyers, or financial sponsors.
- Manage day-to-day deal activities and oversee or mentor Analysts.
- Prepare client presentation materials and perform due diligence.
- Work closely with senior investment bankers on active transactions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a top-tier business school with graduation by summer 2028.
- A bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to integrate AI-powered tools into daily workflows.
- Strong quantitative, technical, and analytical skills.
- Exceptional organizational, execution, and time management abilities.
- Executive presence, maturity, and professional communication skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- U.S. work authorization is required as we do not sponsor work visas.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY.
- This is a paid internship position with an annual salary of $175,000 per year.
