About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Paragould, Arkansas. You will gain hands-on experience by working directly with Regional Controllers and Staff Accountants in the construction industry. The role involves exposure to a full range of accounting functions and provides an opportunity to apply classroom concepts to real business operations.
What you'll do#
- Support the company safety culture and follow all workplace conduct and ethical policies.
- Assist with inventory transactions, physical measurements, and job costing.
- Work with operations teams to improve efficiency.
- Gain experience using multiple computer systems.
- Develop an understanding of internal controls within a construction environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A valid driver license and a clean driving record.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office products.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to perform office tasks such as sitting for long periods, combined with the flexibility to visit work sites that may have uneven terrain or noise.
