About the role#
We are hiring a Software Developer Co-op Student for a full-time, 4-month term during the Winter 2027 semester. You will join the Information Technology department in Toronto to work on system-based solutions. This position is paid and follows a hybrid work model, requiring 2 days per week in the office.
What you'll do#
- Write, debug, and refine application code to support system initiatives.
- Partner with team members to estimate tasks, document workflows, and improve processes.
- Support quality assurance through unit testing, system validations, and user-acceptance testing.
- Design and build small to medium-scale features.
- Develop strategies for feature implementation and system back-outs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program for Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A strong desire to learn and take on technical challenges.
- Willingness to participate in soft-skill development.
- Bonus points for experience with Agile or DevOps practices, AWS, Azure, low-code/no-code platforms, Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
