About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within the corporate credit and finance department of a large cooperative. You will work alongside staff to support financial operations between May and August 2027. The program aims to build your understanding of financial procedures while allowing you to contribute to real-world tasks in the agriculture industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist the credit and finance team with daily functions and department tasks.
- Manage account receivables, including AR aging and write-offs.
- Review and analyze balance sheets, income statements, cash flows, and accruals.
- Participate in meetings with staff members.
- Collaborate with the sales team and grower customers on financial matters.
- Gain experience in financial analysis and the input financing underwriting process.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Accounting, Finance, Ag Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency with Excel and experience using financial platforms such as Fintech, digital platforms, or digital wallets.
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaborative abilities.

- This is an on-site position based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
- The internship is a paid, part-time role scheduled for Summer 2027.
