About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern at CNH, you will design, develop, and maintain software systems. You will apply engineering principles to create solutions ranging from individual applications to large-scale systems. This role involves coding, testing, and debugging to ensure software is efficient and user-friendly. You will work on-site in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
- Write, develop, evaluate, and document new and modified software programs.
- Test and prepare software applications for installation.
- Provide business support to analyze software needs.
- Support end users through troubleshooting and training.
- Research and select technical data for assigned projects.
- Work with internal teams and external sources to gather data for engineering requirements.
- Facilitate software asset management, including maintenance contracts.
- Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations.
- Participate in department improvement activities.
- Learn, understand, and promote the quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.
- Collaborate with team members and work independently.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge in your field of support.
- Well-developed problem analysis and problem-solving techniques.
