About the role#
This internship program focuses on AI strategy, governance, and workplace transformation. You will join cross-functional teams to help shape how the company uses AI tools. The program lasts 10 to 12 weeks and includes mentorship, professional development, and exposure to senior leadership. This is a paid, full-time position with potential for full-time placement after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Pilot and evaluate emerging AI tools like Microsoft 365 Copilot.
- Help develop and refine AI governance policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Conduct risk assessments and control testing for generative AI tools.
- Partner with business units to optimize AI prompts, data formats, and workflows.
- Create training materials and awareness campaigns regarding responsible AI use.
- Explore regulatory developments and industry trends to inform compliance strategies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a sophomore, junior, or senior undergraduate, or in the first year of a Master's program.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, Business Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.00 GPA in both overall and major coursework.
- Familiarity with digital productivity platforms and an interest in emerging AI technologies.
- Ability to research, analyze, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- The role is based in Chicago, Illinois.
- This position follows a hybrid work model, alternating between the office and home.
- The annual base pay range for this role is $35,000 to $65,000, depending on experience and location.
