About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work within a software development team. You will learn development tools and programming concepts while working alongside mentors to strategize, design, and create software applications. The role focuses on building real-world solutions and improving existing systems.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with peers across all areas of the software development lifecycle.
- Complete simple coding tasks independently.
- Participate in design discussions and share your input.
- Document, implement, and test high-quality features with support from mentors.
- Take part in code reviews and submit your own code for feedback.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a four-year degree program for Computer Science or a related field.
- Basic programming skills in Java.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong computer skills.
- High attention to detail and solid documentation skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.
