About the role#
Virtuozzo is offering a product management internship focused on technical product intelligence and market analysis. You will work under the supervision and mentorship of senior team members to contribute to product roadmap efforts. The role involves researching competing cloud infrastructure solutions, analyzing customer requirements, and providing evidence-based recommendations to support product planning, sales enablement, and engineering initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Research and document new competitor capabilities.
- Deploy and configure relevant third-party software products to create test environments.
- Define evaluation scenarios to compare competitor features against Virtuozzo Infrastructure.
- Coordinate findings with the product management, sales, and engineering teams.
- Produce feature-comparison matrices, technical reports, and clear planning recommendations.
What you'll need#
- Senior-level undergraduate or graduate student in Computer Science, Data Science, or Business Administration.
- Basic understanding of Linux, virtualization, storage, networking, distributed systems, or cloud-management platforms.
- Ability to install, configure, and evaluate unfamiliar software using technical documentation.
- Familiarity with platforms such as VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V, OpenStack, Kubernetes, or Ceph is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and communication skills to validate product claims and document findings.
- A research-oriented mindset with the ability to organize work and coordinate with technical experts.
Location & details#
- This is a fully remote, paid internship position.
- The role is full-time for an expected duration of 3 months, with the possibility of extension.
- Compensation is 1,000 EUR per month.
