About the role#
The Tech Risk Analyst Intern role is part of the Enterprise Technology & Security Summer Internship Program. This 10-week, full-time program begins in late May 2027. You will work with technology risk teams to identify, manage, and measure risk through a data-driven approach. Interns gain exposure to cloud services, receive mentorship, and participate in professional development workshops.
What you'll do#
- Aggregate and analyze data from multiple sources to identify themes, trends, and emerging risk indicators.
- Translate data insights into actionable recommendations to address control gaps and reduce risk.
- Create and maintain reporting views, dashboards, and trend analyses.
- Support evidence collection, documentation drafting, and stakeholder coordination.
- Participate in control testing, process walkthroughs, and risk assessments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and automate reporting workflows.
- Apply AI tools through prompt engineering to support data analysis.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Security and Assurance, Computer Science, Software Development, or a related technology field.
- Expected graduation date of May 2028 with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to work in a team environment with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Successful completion of a video interview assessment within 4 days of receiving the link.
- Experience or knowledge in coding languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or SQL.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Jira, operating systems like Linux or Windows, and database technologies.
- Coursework or experience in cybersecurity and cloud technology is preferred.
- Permanent work authorization in the United States is required. This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, paid internship based in Johnston, RI; Phoenix, AZ; or Plano, TX.
- The schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm.
