About the role#
Circle K Global Fuels is enhancing pricing strategies through advanced analytics and data modeling. The team is seeking an intern to support the development of an analytics suite, build business intelligence reports, and provide daily operational support. This role involves working with local and global data teams to create solutions that inform business decisions and support business units.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators.
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights from data analysis.
- Provide pricing insights to business unit fuel teams and global fuels.
- Support the design and implementation of data models, reporting tools, and analytical solutions.
- Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to design, test, and scale solutions.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and build reporting solutions.
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic planning.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Prepare reports and presentations describing project results.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree, preferably a master’s or advanced degree, in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools including SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, or relational databases.
- Knowledge of data science models and API integration is considered a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A calm, mature, and organized approach to work with a focus on both planning and execution.
