About the role#
The Risk Analytics Co-op position is a 4-month term running from January to April 2027. You will join the Risk Management team to solve problems and create change across the bank. This role focuses on identifying innovation opportunities and assessing their technical and business merits.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data to find and size new innovation opportunities.
- Simplify complex concepts for stakeholders through presentations.
- Work in a team to visualize and design new products or services.
- Assess the market, business, and technical merits of various concepts.
- Articulate your analysis and opinions to partners.
- Participate in concept development and promote new ideas across the bank.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a post-graduate Masters or MBA program.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, SQL, or R.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to review and analyze data to support decision-making.
- Background in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics is an asset.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
Location & details#
- Location: Toronto, Ontario.
- Modality: Hybrid, with 1-3 days per week expected on-site.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
- Note: You must reside within Canada for the duration of the term.
