About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term, running from January 2027 to April 2027. You will join the Capital Markets Chief Operating Office team in Toronto to support data-driven reporting and financial modeling. This position is offered on a hybrid basis.
What you'll do#
- Manage the day-to-day process of loading data into the client reporting tool.
- Work with large datasets to ensure information remains accurate, consistent, and organized.
- Maintain client and business hierarchies and support updates to prior-period data.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to maintain high data quality.
- Suggest process improvements and explore new data sources to enhance reporting capabilities.
- Fulfill ad-hoc reporting requests and build financial models using internal AI tools.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate degree in Commerce, Economics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related program.
- A graduation date no sooner than August 2027.
- Demonstrated interest in Capital Markets and a record of academic success, teamwork, and extracurricular involvement.
- Technical proficiency with exposure to tools such as Excel, Power Query, Power BI, Alteryx, VBA, or Generative AI.
- Strong critical thinking skills and an ability to work with complex datasets.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.

- Compensation: The annualized base salary for this role is $52,890.
