About the role#
As an Analytical Development Lab Intern, you will work with our product development chemist in Randolph, Minnesota. You will assist in developing new formulations, testing product efficacy, and analyzing lab results to support the creation of high-quality products. This is a paid, full-time internship for Fall 2026.
What you'll do#
- Follow all laboratory and greenhouse safety protocols to ensure a safe environment.
- Assist with research and experiments under the supervision of lab staff.
- Prepare lab materials, including equipment setup and sample preparation.
- Maintain accurate records of procedures, data, and results.
- Monitor and maintain lab equipment by performing routine checks.
- Support data analysis and interpretation using appropriate tools.
- Keep the lab clean and organized, including proper waste disposal.
- Manage inventory by tracking and ordering supplies.
- Contribute to reports or summaries of experimental findings.
- Work independently and handle agricultural materials safely.
- Sterilize equipment and store materials securely.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Agronomy, Animal Science, Horticulture, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, Physics, Physical Science, or a related field.
- A desire to learn, adjust, and find solutions to problems.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and general office tools like phones and computers.
- Strong computer skills.
