About the role#
As an Agronomy Operations Intern, you will work on-site in Worthing, South Dakota. This paid, full-time position runs during the Winter and Summer of 2027. You will work with experienced professionals to gain practical skills in the farming industry.
What you'll do#
- Learn core agronomy skills including crop scouting, product application, and seed management.
- Handle mixing procedures, truck driving, and product delivery.
- Perform daily agronomy and seed operations.
- Monitor inventory quality and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with housecleaning and facility organization.
- Help repair and maintain equipment like sprayers, floaters, trucks, and conveyors.
- Provide service to customers and help them with their needs.
- Follow all state, local, and company safety and environmental policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related agriculture degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Agriculture experience or background knowledge is helpful.
- Previous internship experience is a plus.
