About the role#
We are hiring a Grain Sales Intern in Ruthton, Minnesota for Summer 2026. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. You will work closely with our Grain Originator to engage with local producers and learn how to secure grain while developing marketing strategies.
What you'll do#
- Procure grain from local producers and reach out to new accounts.
- Learn to update producers on market trends, grain programs, and current quotes.
- Assist with reporting and type purchasing contracts with speed and accuracy.
- Help the Grain Originator with rail billing and grain sales settlements.
- Work with elevator and office staff to keep grain moving efficiently.
- Provide professional customer service to our patrons.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related agriculture degree program.
- Previous experience or background knowledge in agriculture, crops, or grain is helpful.
- While not required, previous internship experience is a plus.
