About the role#
As an Agronomy Operations Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the farming industry. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support agriculture operations in Foxhome, Minnesota. This is a paid, full-time opportunity that spans the Winter and Summer 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Learn core agronomy skills, including crop scouting, product application, and seed management.
- Handle daily agronomy and seed operations, including mixing procedures and product delivery.
- Monitor inventory quality and maintain accurate records.
- Perform routine cleaning and facility upkeep.
- Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment like conveyors, sprayers, floaters, and trucks.
- Provide service to customers and maintain a safe, compliant work environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, tractors, and conveyors.
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons.
- A valid CDL and forklift certification are preferred.
