About the role#
The Information Services Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting the technology needs of Christensen Farms. This role provides exposure to technical support, systems administration, business applications, and various technology projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the administration, maintenance, and support of enterprise applications and business systems.
- Support application testing, upgrades, implementations, and documentation.
- Monitor application performance and assist in troubleshooting issues.
- Help gather, organize, and analyze data to support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives.
- Collaborate with Information Services team members and business stakeholders to understand technology needs.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
- Participate in technology projects and gain exposure to system integrations and business processes.
- Support vendor management activities including software licensing and documentation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field (junior-level students preferred).
- A strong interest in information technology and a desire to gain hands-on business experience.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networking concepts.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications is preferred.

- Compensation: 20 dollars per hour.
