About the role#
This internship provides a full, end-to-end experience in a corporate setting. You will have visibility to senior executives and gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, tax preparation, and the annual audit process. You will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
What you'll do#
- Assist with month-end closing procedures.
- Review and analyze monthly financial statements and managerial reports.
- Prepare financial reporting packages.
- Collect and enter data for ASC 842 implementation.
- Create documentation to support external audits.
- Perform ad hoc reporting and investigate issues to provide explanations.
- Manage sensitive or confidential information.
- Complete special projects and other assigned tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited local university.
- Major in Accounting or Finance with Junior or Senior standing.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid math skills.
- Ability to communicate findings clearly in writing and speech.
- A positive attitude and a desire to build a career in accounting.
- Eagerness to learn and gain practical experience.

- Location: Sleepy Eye, Minnesota.
- Term: Summer 2027 (10 weeks, from late May through early August).
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
