About the role#
As a Student Clinical Assistant I, you will work with the Clinical Research Team to support ongoing studies. This role provides an opportunity to gain a practical understanding of research protocols, project developments, and clinical issues. You will provide age-appropriate care and services to patients based on their specific developmental needs.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the recruitment and consent process for parents and children.
- Collect data through participant screenings and interviews.
- Analyze research data using qualitative software, coding, and memos.
- Prepare materials for IRB approval submissions.
- Help draft professional research papers and reports.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- At least one prior internship or paid experience in clinical research.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in an organized manner and collaborate well with others.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A general understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
- Experience with Microsoft Office is preferred.

- This position is located at the Roberts Center for Pediatric Research in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- This is a part-time, on-site role with a rolling term.
