About the role#
Child Guidance Resource Centers offers a student teaching position within our Elementary Education Services program. This program serves children in grades K-8 who require a structured academic environment outside of their public school district. You will work in a setting that balances academic curriculum with social, emotional, and behavioral development.
What you'll do#
- Assist the classroom teacher with daily operations.
- Collaborate with the special education team.
- Manage the classroom environment.
- Provide individualized instruction to students.
- Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Support instructional tasks, including assessment, grading, and progress monitoring.
- Provide behavioral support and crisis intervention.
- Participate in professional development activities.
