About the role#
This internship is designed for students within the Texas A&M Trading, Risk and Investment program to gain hands-on experience in commodity commercial activities. You will work directly on trading floors alongside experienced Traders and Analysts, building business relationships while contributing to the Supply and Trading organization. This role serves as an entry point to the full-time hiring program.
What you'll do#
- Conduct Risk Management and Credit analysis.
- Assist in Downstream Value Chain Optimization analysis.
- Participate in company training opportunities and events.
- Collaborate with teams across crude, refined products, renewables, and natural gas sectors.
What you'll need#
- Must be an accepted, full-time enrolled participant of the Texas A&M Trading, Risk and Investment (TRIP) program.
- Permanent U.S. work authorization is required.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for the energy industry.
- Academic background in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, International Relations, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, or Statistics.

- Compensation: $29.85 - $41.50 per hour, depending on discipline, degree level, and academic year.
