About the role#
This full-time position is designed for graduates of the Texas A&M Trading, Risk and Investment Program (TRIP) who have completed a prior internship with Chevron. You will be placed directly into a Supply & Trading organization to manage specific portfolios, contribute to business segments, and drive process improvements. This role offers the opportunity to apply your commercial knowledge and internship experience to real-world trading operations while working closely with business leaders.
What you'll do#
- Analyze and monitor organizational and business performance for your assigned region and commodity.
- Collaborate with trading, operations, accounting, finance, and risk control teams to report earnings, exposures, and mark-to-market positions.
- Manage transportation logistics, including quality and quantity control across pipelines, trucks, rails, and ships to execute commercial transactions.
- Analyze market fundamentals, industry developments, and pricing structures to support commodity trading strategies.
- Drive process improvements by applying the skills and knowledge acquired during your academic and internship training.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Successful completion of the Texas A&M Trading, Risk and Investment Program (TRIP) certificate.
- Ability to multi-task effectively within a domestic and international team environment.
- Capacity to work varying schedules, including addressing business issues during weekends.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to recognize market drivers and grasp overall commercial strategies.
- Relevant majors include Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or Supply Chain Management.
