About the role#
Cherry Bekaert is seeking a Valuation Intern for the Winter 2027 term. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Please note that the firm does not provide work sponsorship for this role.
What you'll do#
- Complete valuation engagements covering enterprise, debt, equity, and intangible assets.
- Apply standard valuation methodologies to business enterprise and debt engagements.
- Execute purchase price allocations for tax or financial reporting purposes under US GAAP.
- Analyze historical financial data to identify business trends and potential risks.
- Assist the team in developing discount rates, such as WACC.
- Conduct financial statement analysis and perform market research to support valuation reports.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher is preferred.
- Strong Excel skills are required.
- Interest in pursuing an advanced degree or professional certification, such as an MBA, MS, ASA, ABV, or CFA.
