About the role#
Cherry Bekaert is hiring a Valuation Intern for the Winter 2027 term in Raleigh, North Carolina. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. Please note that the firm does not provide work sponsorship for this role.
What you'll do#
- Perform business enterprise and debt valuation engagements using standard methodologies.
- Analyze portfolio company audit and reporting results.
- Conduct purchase price allocations for tax or financial reporting purposes under US GAAP.
- Assist in the development of discount rates, specifically WACC.
- Help prepare valuation reports for clients.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher is preferred.
- Strong skills in Excel.
- An interest in pursuing advanced degrees or certifications such as an MBA, MS, ASA, ABV, or CFA.

- Compensation: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour.
