About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Winter 2027 based in Chicago, Illinois. You will work on-site with our valuation team to support various client engagements. Please note that we do not provide work sponsorship for this position.
What you'll do#
- Complete valuation engagements for enterprise, debt, equity, and intangible assets.
- Use methods like discounted cash flow, comparable transactions, and comparable public companies.
- Perform purchase price allocations for tax or financial reporting purposes under US GAAP.
- Analyze historical financial results of target companies to identify risks and explain business trends.
- Assist in the preparation of final valuation reports.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong Excel skills.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher is preferred.
- Interest in obtaining an advanced degree or certification such as an MBA, MS, ASA, ABV, or CFA.
