About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will gain insight into the public accounting profession. You will work with multiple supervisors on various client engagements and build a foundation for your career. This is a paid, full-time summer internship based in Augusta, Georgia.
What you'll do#
- Apply your accounting knowledge to client work using firm technology.
- Shadow tax professionals at all levels of the organization.
- Participate in team building and training initiatives.
- Work on a marketing or research project and present your findings.
- Attend social functions, including lunches and happy hours, along with community service projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a junior or senior in an accredited accounting or related program.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above is preferred.
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.
- Eligibility to work in the United States, as we do not provide sponsorship for this role.
