About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within the Cedars-Sinai Biomanufacturing Center. You will work under the guidance of our Quality Assurance team to learn about quality systems, GMP documentation, and regulatory compliance in a biomanufacturing setting. This is a full-time, unpaid internship requiring academic credit.
What you'll do#
- Complete initial onboarding, GMP orientation, and safety training.
- Assist with SOP and form routing, formatting, revision control, and document archival.
- Support deviation, CAPA, and change control activities by logging records and tracking status.
- Help monitor follow-up actions and assist with training record maintenance.
- Collect quality data for metrics and trending.
- Summarize quality system activities and present key learnings to the QA team.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- You must reside in the greater Los Angeles area or surrounding cities for the duration of the appointment.
- You must receive academic credit for this internship.
