About the role#
The Creative Services team handles branding and promotional development for WCVB. As an intern, you will learn the principles of writing and producing content for NewsCenter 5 and Chronicle. This is a paid position for Summer 2026.
What you'll do#
- Write news topical promotions for NewsCenter 5 and Chronicle.
- Assist with promotional and commercial shoots, both in-house and on location.
- Support PSA production work.
What you'll need#
- Senior undergraduate status or recent graduation from an accredited college, university, or community college.
- Effective writing skills.
- Ability to assist with promotional shoots.
- Interest in community service through media.
- Majors in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Media Studies, Graphic Design, or Public Health.
Location & details#
- Location: Needham, Massachusetts.
- Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: 10 weeks at 24 hours per week.
- Compensation: $20 per hour.
