About the role#
The Creative Services internship at WCVB provides hands-on experience in branding and promotional development for NewsCenter 5 and Chronicle. This is a 10-week summer program requiring a 24-hour weekly commitment with flexible scheduling. This position is paid at $20 per hour.
What you'll do#
- Write effective news topical promotions for NewsCenter 5 and Chronicle.
- Assist with promotional and commercial shoots, both in-house and on location.
- Participate in the production of public service announcements to support community initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current senior undergraduate status or recent graduation from an accredited college, university, or community college.
- Enrollment or background in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Media Studies, Graphic Design, or Public Health.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to assist with production shoots.
- A demonstrated interest in community service through media.
