About the role#
The Creative Services Intern will join the WCVB Summer Internship Program to learn the fundamental principles of writing and producing promotional content for NewsCenter 5 and Chronicle. This 10-week program requires a commitment of 24 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
What you'll do#
- Write effective news topical promotions for NewsCenter 5 and Chronicle.
- Assist with promotional and commercial shoots, both in-house and on location.
- Participate in the production of public service announcements to support community initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Senior undergraduate status or recent graduation from an accredited community college, college, or university.
- Effective writing skills.
- Ability to assist with promotional and commercial shoots.
- An interest in community service through media.
- Eligible majors include Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Media Studies, Graphic Design, and Public Health.

- Compensation: $20 per hour.
