About the role#
WMUR, the ABC affiliate in Manchester, is seeking a Creative Services Intern for the summer of 2026. This role focuses on the branding and promotional development of the station. You will gain insight into the daily operations of a television Creative Services department and learn the fundamentals of writing and producing effective promotional content.
What you'll do#
- Draft topical copy for WMUR news segments and the nightly newsmagazine show, Chronicle.
- Observe live newscasts and editing sessions.
- Participate in the production of promotional and commercial shoots, both in-house and on location.
- Support the creation of public service announcements to help the station engage with the local community.
- Explore strategies for broadcast and digital marketing.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Communications, Journalism, or Marketing.
- Ability to apply writing and communication skills in a professional media environment.
- Interest in learning the technical and creative aspects of television promotion.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Manchester, New Hampshire.
