About the role#
This Business Operations internship provides administrative support to our leadership team and stakeholders. You will help maintain smooth office functions and assist with various regional projects. This role is a paid position for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative assistance including copying, scanning, mail delivery, and FedEx coordination.
- Manage calendars, prepare for meetings, and process expense reports.
- Cover reception duties and support guests or visitors.
- Create and update business documents like memos and spreadsheets using Microsoft Office.
- Handle questions from clients and internal staff, directing them to the right resources.
- Support regional administrative projects and office priorities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an Associate or Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet software.
- Ability to use AI tools like Copilot.
- Strong interpersonal, project management, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently within a team.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
Location & details#
- Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
- Modality: Hybrid and on-site. You must be able to work on-site at least three days per week during core business hours.
- Schedule: Minimum of 20 hours per week, with work blocks of at least two hours. Periodic extra hours, including evenings or Saturdays, may be required.
