About the role#
This Business Operations Intern position provides support to our leadership team and stakeholders in Philadelphia. You will handle daily office needs and contribute to regional projects. This is a paid, part-time opportunity for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative support including copying, scanning, and mail coordination.
- Manage calendars, prepare for meetings, and process expense reports.
- Cover reception duties and assist with guest and visitor support.
- Create and update memos and spreadsheets using Microsoft Office.
- Assist with regional special projects and office priorities.
- Answer questions from internal and external clients and direct them to the right resources.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associate or Bachelor degree program, specifically in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and intranet software.
- Experience with AI tools like Copilot.
- High attention to detail and strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- Modality: Hybrid, with at least three days per week onsite during the traditional business week.
- Schedule: Minimum of 20 hours per week during core business hours, with work blocks of at least two hours. Some evening or Saturday work may be required.
- Physical requirements: Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
