About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in Boston, Massachusetts, gaining hands-on experience by participating in client assignments from start to finish. You will support our teams across various industries, including real estate, construction, nonprofit, and manufacturing.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the planning and execution of multiple audit assignments.
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
- Help with IRS audits, tax notice responses, and trust, gift, and estate returns.
- Identify and communicate audit issues and improvement opportunities to senior associates, managers, and partners.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with client staff to ensure high-quality service.
- Apply accounting and auditing principles while maintaining strict client confidentiality.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- A Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet software.
- Solid interpersonal, analytical, research, and project management skills.
- The ability to multi-task and solve problems independently.
