About the role#
We are looking for team-oriented individuals to join our Concord Distribution Centre. You will work within our Operations team to receive and stock medical products while fulfilling orders for clients in the healthcare industry. This is a 6-month contract position offering 24 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments and stock orders to designated locations.
- Verify the accuracy and quality of products picked and received.
- Operate various types of warehouse mobile equipment. We provide the necessary training.
- Sort packaged materials and process items for recycling.
- Follow health and safety guidelines and policies.
- Maintain a clean and orderly working environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Ability to lift 10lbs to 30lbs regularly and up to 50lbs occasionally.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work well in a team environment with strong communication skills.
- High School diploma is preferred.
- Previous experience with machine operations and RF scanners is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: 300 Applewood Crescent, Concord, ON.
- Schedule: 24 hours per week.
- Shift times: Sunday (8:00 AM to 4:15 PM), Monday or Wednesday (6:45 AM to 3:00 PM or 9:45 AM to 6:00 PM), and Friday (6:45 AM to 3:00 PM or 9:45 AM to 6:00 PM).
- Hourly rate: $17.95.
