About the role#
As a Resident Coordination Intern, you will focus on high-quality customer service and team collaboration. The role supports the community goal of maintaining full occupancy through resident retention and leasing efforts. You will work on-site, assisting with administrative tasks and community engagement.
What you'll do#
- Serve as an ambassador for customer service by consistently exceeding expectations for residents.
- Complete lease applications and manage lease file paperwork while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Participate in the Cardinal Way of Leasing training, including greeting clients, answering calls, determining needs, presenting apartment homes, and closing sales.
- Assist with planning community events and help with additional projects as assigned by the Community Manager.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with team members, vendors, and residents.
- Perform on-call responsibilities, such as lock-outs and nightly rounds, and work evenings and weekends as scheduled.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year at an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and navigate all interior and exterior areas of the property in various weather conditions.
- Must be a current or future leaseholder of the community and reside on the assigned community floor.

- Location: Pennsylvania, United States.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
- Status: Unpaid internship with rolling enrollment.
