About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will serve as a customer service ambassador and contribute to the community's occupancy goals. This role involves balancing administrative tasks with direct interaction with prospective and current residents. You will work on-site and participate in ongoing training to master leasing processes and community standards.
What you'll do#
- Manage front desk administrative tasks and handle incoming leasing inquiries.
- Complete lease applications and maintain accurate file documentation in compliance with company policy.
- Guide prospective clients through the community, present apartment homes, and assist with the sales process.
- Support the team by planning and executing community events.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path to ensure a positive first impression.
- Participate in required training programs and assist with additional community projects as assigned.
- Perform on-call duties such as lock-outs and nightly rounds.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours and a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
- Completion of at least one year of post-secondary education.
- Status as a current or future leaseholder of the community.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and physically access all areas of the property.
- Valid driver's license.
- Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
