About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will support the property team by delivering high-quality customer service to residents and prospective clients. You will play a key role in maintaining community occupancy through leasing efforts, administrative support, and resident engagement. This is a part-time, on-site, paid internship role.
What you'll do#
- Act as an ambassador for customer service by ensuring resident and prospect satisfaction.
- Manage administrative front desk tasks and complete all lease applications and associated paperwork.
- Maintain accurate lease file documentation in accordance with company policy.
- Ensure the community tour path remains clean to provide a positive first impression.
- Assist with the planning and execution of community events.
- Participate in required training programs and assist with additional community projects as assigned.
- Perform on-call duties, such as lock-outs and nightly rounds, which require evening and weekend availability.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Enrollment in an accredited degree program with at least six credit hours, having completed a minimum of one year of study.
- A minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
- Ability to live on the designated community floor per guidelines.
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and navigate all interior and exterior areas of the property in various weather conditions.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Real Estate, Communications, or Marketing.
Location & details#
- Location: West Henrietta, New York.
- Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
- Modality: On-site.
