About the role#
The Leasing Community Intern role focuses on delivering high-quality customer service to residents and achieving occupancy goals. This is a paid, part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours of work per week. Interns must be available to work evenings and weekends and are required to live on a designated community floor per company guidelines.
What you'll do#
- Act as a customer service ambassador to ensure resident satisfaction.
- Manage administrative front desk tasks and duties.
- Guide prospective clients through the leasing process, including answering calls, conducting tours, and closing sales.
- Complete lease applications and maintain accurate lease file documentation.
- Ensure the tour path remains clean to provide a positive first impression.
- Assist with the planning and execution of community events.
- Participate in required training programs and handle on-call responsibilities such as lock-outs and nightly rounds.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year of college or university coursework.
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and navigate the property in various weather conditions.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Real Estate, Communications, or Marketing.
