About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will support our apartment community operations. You will focus on resident retention, leasing available units, and managing administrative tasks. This role requires a commitment to customer service and teamwork. You will work on-site in Chicago, typically for 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
What you'll do#
- Greet prospective clients and answer incoming leasing calls.
- Complete lease applications and manage file paperwork.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path to ensure a positive first impression.
- Assist with planning community events.
- Perform on-call responsibilities, such as lock-outs and nightly rounds.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year of college.
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Preference for majors in Business Administration, Real Estate, Marketing, or Communications.
