About the role#
As a student intern, you will join our multi-disciplinary team to work under the supervision of a licensed engineer. You will contribute to projects including new construction and renovation across educational, healthcare, commercial, and science and technology markets. Based on business needs, this position has the potential to evolve into a full-time entry-level role for qualified students.
What you'll do#
- Perform uncomplicated designs of ductwork, piping, controls, and equipment selection for HVAC systems.
- Assist in Revit or BIM modeling of construction drawings for HVAC systems from schematic design through construction administration.
- Review and markup shop drawing submittals.
- Recommend ways to improve process, quality, and coordination efforts.
- Visit job sites to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress, which may require physical walk-throughs.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor or Master's degree program in Engineering.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with engineering design programs like Revit MEP is preferred.
