About the role#
As a student intern, you will join our multi-disciplinary team to work under the supervision of a licensed engineer. You will support projects across the educational, healthcare, commercial, and science and technology markets, including both new construction and renovation work.
What you'll do#
- Perform uncomplicated designs for HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, controls, and equipment selection.
- Assist with Revit and BIM modeling for construction drawings throughout the design and administration phases.
- Review and markup shop drawing submittals.
- Suggest improvements for process, quality, and coordination.
- Visit job sites to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress, which requires physical site walk-throughs.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor or Master's degree program in Engineering.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with engineering design software, such as Revit MEP, is preferred.
