About the role#
The HR Generalist Student will provide support to the Client Services team. You will work alongside HR Business Advisors and HR Analysts to assist with various human resources tasks. This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Oil Sands site.
What you'll do#
- Create and process accurate Assignment Change Form packages, including transfers, resignations, progressions, and leaves of absence.
- Coordinate and complete projects for the department or HR Business Advisors.
- Assist with the roll out of company HR initiatives.
- Audit people and position data within HR Central.
- Complete ad-hoc reporting tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in the 3rd or 4th year of a degree or diploma program in Human Resources.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and proficient proofreading skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta.
- Term: Winter 2027 start, with 8 or 12 month options.
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 10 hours per day.
- This is a safety sensitive position.
