About the role#
This is a full-time, paid student position for the Winter 2027 term (January to April). You will join a software development team to help design, build, and maintain applications that support our business. This role offers hands-on experience with modern technologies while you work alongside experienced developers and mentors. Depending on your team, your work may focus on front-end, back-end, full-stack, data, or integration solutions.
What you'll do#
- Work in an agile environment to support and enhance software applications.
- Participate in the full software lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and business partners.
- Perform functional and technical testing to ensure quality.
- Use version control and issue-tracking tools as part of your daily work.
- Apply your academic knowledge to real-world technical and process improvements.
What you'll need#
- Currently in your second-year or higher of a post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- A willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to change.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage assigned tasks.
