About the role#
This position supports daily operations at Centerpointe Dining. You will help with food service, maintain clean dining areas, and assist with dishwashing and kitchen tasks. This role is open to current Cal Poly Pomona students.
What you'll do#
- Clean and sanitize soiled dishes, including pots, pans, utensils, and containers.
- Operate and perform daily maintenance on commercial dishwashers.
- Keep the dish room clean and organized.
- Work as part of a team to support kitchen operations.
- Provide helpful customer service and maintain a positive attitude.
- Follow a regular work schedule.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Cal Poly Pomona student.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask.
- Ability to maintain punctual attendance for your scheduled shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Obtain a Food Handler’s Certification within 30 days of being hired.
- Previous dishwashing or restaurant experience is helpful but not required.

- This role is based in Pomona, California.
- Work is on-site.
- The schedule includes evening and weekend shifts and may change during campus holidays or breaks.
