About the role#
This role is part of the Dining Services team at Burger Envy. You will support daily operations through a variety of tasks ranging from food preparation to customer service. This position provides an opportunity to develop professional skills and work within a team environment on campus.
What you'll do#
- Prepare food and wash dishes.
- Serve food and wait tables.
- Manage cashiering and custodial responsibilities.
- Receive and stock orders and items.
- Assist individuals through phone, email, or in-person interactions.
- Complete special projects and communicate work status updates to your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Cal Poly Pomona.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a SERV Safe Certification within 30 days of your hire date if handling food.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- This position is located in Pomona, California.
- Work is on-site.
- This is a paid, part-time student assistant role with a rolling term.
